Pedro Castel-Branco

Pedro is motivated by a deep intellectual curiosity and a people-oriented mindset. At Armilar, he focuses on early-stage B2B software investments, with a particular emphasis on Digital Health, Applied AI, and data-driven SaaS.

His work spans the full investment lifecycle, from evaluating new opportunities and leading investment analysis to providing strategic support to portfolio companies.Pedro holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and an MBA from INSEAD.

Prior to joining Armilar in 2021, he spent eight years at McKinsey & Company, where he worked on strategy, digital transformation and risk projects primarily within the banking and retail sectors.

He is fluent in English and Spanish.
